Terms of Service
Last updated 6 October 2026
The service
Nous helps members plan and keep their day, reflect, and track their progress through the program, and helps coaches support their members. Access is by invitation: through a coach's link or a diagnostic result. Features may change as we improve the app.
Your account
- Use your own account, keep your sign-in secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used it.
- Give accurate information. You must be 18 or over.
- Coaches are responsible for using their members' information only to coach them, and for having their members' agreement to record calls.
Not professional advice
Nous and the coaching it supports are about performance, habits and mindset. They are not medical, psychological, therapeutic, financial or legal advice, and they don't replace a qualified professional. If you're struggling with your health or wellbeing, please contact a professional or your local emergency services.
Your content
What you write and record — reflections, notes, your book — stays yours. You give us permission to store it and process it only to run Nous for you and your coach, as described in our Privacy Policy. Some summaries and drafts are produced by AI; they can be wrong, so read them as suggestions and edit them as you see fit.
Fair use
Don't misuse Nous: no trying to access other people's data, breaking or overloading the service, reverse engineering it, or using it for anything unlawful or abusive. We may suspend access if you do.
Other services
Nous works with services such as Google (sign-in), Fathom, the video-call service your coach uses, and your device's notifications. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for them.
Ending
You can stop using Nous at any time and ask us to delete your account. Your access may end when your program ends, or if these terms are broken. What happens to your data then is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Nous available and your data safe, but the app is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for the app is limited to what you paid for access to it in the previous twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be excluded by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and tell you in the app if the change is significant. Questions? Reach us through edodaves.com.
